Oxigen

Senior Broadcast Operations Manager

$$$$

We are hiring on behalf of our client, an American media company. They run a network of newsletters sending millions of emails a day, and a big part of the revenue comes from the ads and offers placed inside those sends. The network is growing fast, and the ad pipeline needs one person who owns it end to end.

The role

You run the broadcast side of the business. You build and own the ad calendar across newsletter domains, decide which offer, creative and link goes into which send, and make sure every placement goes out correctly tracked and on time.

You work closely with Content, Analytics and Growth. You look at the numbers, spot what is underperforming, swap it out fast, and keep testing new offers, partners and angles every month.

This is not a role for someone who waits for tasks. You will be the central point for broadcast execution, and you are expected to build the systems around it yourself.

What you will own

  • Ad placement calendars across 50+ newsletter properties, always 7 to 14 days ahead
  • Ad inventory, placement rotation and partner allocation
  • Assigning offers, creatives, hooks and links based on strategy and past performance
  • Correct tracking, UTMs and attribution on every send
  • Sending quality and distribution cadence
  • Performance analysis together with the Analytics team
  • Reporting on revenue, RPM, fill rate and efficiency
  • Better workflows, systems and automation over time
  • Finding new ways to grow revenue and improve placements

How success is measured

  • Broadcast revenue grows quarter over quarter
  • Ad RPM trends up across the network
  • Inventory is fully used, the calendar is never empty or reactive
  • CTR and conversions improve through better offer and creative pairing
  • New offers, partners or angles are tested every month
  • Underperforming campaigns are replaced fast
  • Forecasts match actual results
  • Near-zero errors on offers, links and placements

Must-have

  • 5+ years in media buying, affiliate or direct-response marketing
  • Hands-on experience with campaign management, ad scheduling or rotations
  • Strong understanding of tracking, UTMs, delivery windows, frequency and offer pacing
  • Very structured and detail-oriented, stays calm when working at scale
  • Comfortable making decisions and setting priorities on your own
  • Clear communication and solid experience working across teams
  • C1+ written and spoken English
  • Ownership mindset: you build the process, you don’t wait for it

Nice to have

  • Newsletter monetization experience
  • Background in affiliate or performance media, direct response preferred
  • Experience running ad operations at scale
  • Experience with U.S. DTC or affiliate offers
  • Beehiiv experience
