CFO (iGaming)
An international technology-driven business operating in a fast-paced, high-volume transactional environment is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who combines strategic financial leadership with a strong hands-on approach and a deep understanding of business operations.
This role requires someone who can translate business strategy into actionable financial plans, independently navigate complex financial processes, and build a scalable finance function that supports business growth and expansion.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's business goals, ensuring its effective implementation.
- Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and P&L.
- Drive financial performance through a deep understanding of unit economics, revenue streams, and profitability across business units.
- Take a hands-on approach to financial operations, reporting, financial models, and process optimization.
- Build, optimize, and automate financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to support strategic decisions and business growth.
- Lead financial planning and support business expansion into new markets, ensuring financial and regulatory readiness.
- Collaborate closely with Legal and other functions on multi-jurisdictional structures, regulatory requirements, and financial compliance.
- Lead, develop, and scale the finance team, ensuring clear processes, accountability, and operational efficiency.
Drive improvements in financial systems, including ERP implementation and optimization.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in finance, including leadership experience as Head of Finance / CFO.
- Strong background in financial analytics, financial planning, and operational finance, with progressive experience in finance leadership.
- Experience in the iGaming industry, including operators, gaming providers, or iGaming platform businesses.
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into financial strategy and deliver measurable results.
- Strong hands-on expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, cash flow, and unit economics.
- Deep understanding of business models, revenue streams, and profitability drivers.
- Experience building and scaling financial processes and teams in growing businesses.
- Experience working with multi-jurisdictional structures and collaborating closely with Legal teams.
- Strong understanding of financial risks, internal controls, and compliance.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, including the ability to independently work with complex financial models and reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial process automation.
Upper-Intermediate+ level of English.
Nice to Have
- Practical experience supporting financial operations in locally licensed iGaming / gambling markets, including local reporting and financial compliance requirements.
- Experience working across multiple iGaming / gambling companies or business models.
- Experience building finance functions from scratch or leading financial transformations.
- Experience working with international payment systems.
- Experience raising investments or working with investors.
