AWS Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join an exciting internal technology initiative focused on building intelligent, AI-driven solutions.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who has moved into solution architecture but still enjoys working closely with technology, exploring new tools, and solving complex engineering challenges.

The project involves AWS cloud infrastructure, generative AI, autonomous agents, and modern approaches to building scalable AI applications.

We need someone who can see the big picture, make well-grounded technical decisions, and turn ambitious ideas into practical, production-ready solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience designing and delivering solutions on AWS.
• Practical knowledge of Amazon Bedrock and its capabilities for building generative AI applications.
• Ability to design cloud architectures with scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency in mind.
• Proven experience building AI-powered applications using large language models.
• Hands-on involvement in projects featuring autonomous AI agents or multi-agent environments.
• Understanding of how to coordinate multiple agents, manage their workflows, and optimize their performance.
• Experience implementing RAG architectures, including document retrieval, embeddings, vector search, and integration with LLMs.
• Experience making technical design decisions across different projects and technology stacks.
• Solid understanding of APIs, distributed applications, integrations, and modern software design principles.
• Exposure to a variety of commercial projects and engineering environments.
• Relevant technical education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants, particularly Claude Code or comparable tools.
• Ability to assess new technologies, frameworks, and services independently.
• Interest in staying technically hands-on, experimenting, and continuously improving engineering approaches.

Your Role

• Take the lead in defining technical architecture for AI-focused applications.
• Work with AWS services to design robust cloud-based solutions.
• Architect agent-based systems capable of handling complex tasks and coordinating multiple AI components.
• Establish technical approaches for knowledge retrieval and LLM-based applications.
• Research and select suitable technologies, frameworks, and integration strategies.
• Identify potential architectural limitations and recommend improvements.
• Support engineering teams with technical direction and architectural decisions.

• Help shape solutions from early technical concepts through implementation and deployment.

   

As a plus

• AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional), preferably with verifiable credentials.
• Building conversational AI or voice-enabled applications.
• Experience integrating telephony systems with AI, including speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies.
• Development of interactive digital avatars, virtual presenters, or AI-powered talking characters.
• Experience with real-time AI systems and low-latency conversational applications.
• Independent technical experiments, open-source contributions, or personal AI projects.
