Product Designer (Middle+/Senior)

Help create the next generation of industrial visual digital twin products 

Visco is creating a new generation of visual digital twin solutions for asset-intensive industries, combining advanced 3D visualisation with operational information in modern web and mobile experiences. We are transitioning our platform to web technology and investing in state-of-the-art design and technology as we grow in the SaaS market. Product Design has a key role in making this ambition real. 

As part of a focused team, you will work across the full design and product workflow, from customer research and early discovery to prototyping, detailed design, validation, and delivery. You will work closely with and report to the Product Design Lead, collaborate directly with Product Managers and Engineers, and have real influence on both the product and how we work. With that influence comes meaningful ownership and responsibility. 

What you'll do 

• Design clear, intuitive experiences for our web platform and contribute to mobile initiatives where relevant. 
• Work across the full product design process, from research and discovery to delivery and continuous improvement. 
• Participate in customer interviews, workshops, field research, and usability testing. 
• Translate customer needs and business goals into workflows, concepts, wireframes, and prototypes. 
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers, with a strong voice in product decisions. 
• Contribute to the evolution and consistent use of our design system and UX standards. 
• Help establish practical product discovery and design practices as our Product Operating Model matures. 
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and validation where appropriate. 

What we're looking for 

• 3-6 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a similar role. 
• Experience designing SaaS products or other complex digital applications. 
• Strong interaction design, problem-solving, and prototyping skills. 
• Ability to conduct and synthesise customer and user research. 
• Experience with Figma, design systems, and close collaboration with developers. 
• Curiosity, initiative, sound judgement, and a willingness to take ownership. 

Nice to have 

• Experience designing mobile applications. 
• Experience with industrial, technical, or B2B software. 
• Domain knowledge in oil and gas, or experience with software supporting energy, offshore, maintenance, inspection, or operations. 
• Experience designing products that use 3D visualisation, digital twins, spatial interfaces, CAD, GIS, or complex technical data. 
• Familiarity with Product Operating Model principles and continuous product discovery. 
• Experience using AI tools for rapid prototyping, concept exploration, research synthesis, or design-to-code workflows.
