Business Analyst (Pre-Sales and Discovery)

ImproveIT Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst to support our team during pre-sales and discovery stages of software development projects.

We need someone who can analyze client requests, clarify business needs, collaborate with technical specialists, and help prepare project estimates, roadmaps, and team allocation plans.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requests and define business goals, project scope, and requirements.
• Participate in pre-sales discussions and conduct discovery sessions with clients.
• Gather, structure, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and technical leads to prepare project estimates, roadmaps, and team allocation plans.
• Identify risks, assumptions, dependencies, and open questions.
• Contribute to client proposals and solution planning.
• Prepare relevant documentation, including user stories with acceptance criteria, process/data flow diagrams, and RAID logs.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers on user flows, wireframes, or mockups when needed.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Experience in pre-sales, discovery, or early-stage project planning.
• Understanding of software development processes and technical concepts.
• Ability to turn ambiguous client requests into clear requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
• English B2 or higher.

Would be a plus:

• Experience in IT outsourcing.
• Experience with project estimation, roadmap preparation, and resource planning.
• Familiarity with BPMN, UML, and user story mapping.
