First Crypto Exchange LLC (FCE) is a digital asset trading platform that enables individuals and institutions to buy, sell, and manage cryptocurrencies securely and efficiently.
FCE operates under a VARA license in Dubai, UAE.
FCE is committed to building a trusted, well-governed OTC Desk , combining robust market infrastructure with strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and operational transparency.
As the business scales, FCE is developing its own infrastructure for digital assets and fiat payments, including an OTC platform, web client, and mobile application.
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and help translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for product and engineering teams.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to analyze business processes, document requirements, identify gaps, and support the delivery of product and system improvements.
The key objective of the role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into effective solutions for FCE's crypto and fintech products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and support implementation.
- Prepare and maintain business analysis documentation, including process flows, diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Break down complex business processes into structured requirements and actionable development tasks.
- Analyze system behavior, business logic, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement clarification sessions.
- Support QA Engineers in defining test scenarios and validating that delivered functionality meets business requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve ambiguities and ensure alignment between business expectations and technical solutions.
- Analyze data and operational feedback to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
- Use AI tools to improve research, documentation, requirements analysis, and day-to-day productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Crypto, Web3, FinTech, banking, payments, or trading platforms.
- Understanding of cryptocurrency exchanges, OTC trading, digital asset operations, or crypto-fiat transactions.
- Experience with payment flows, financial integrations, transaction processing, or reconciliation.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience writing user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to create process flow diagrams, business process models, and system interaction diagrams.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business scenarios.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, and basic system architecture.
- Ability to identify dependencies, inconsistencies, risks, and edge cases in business requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using AI tools to support business analysis and documentation.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- English — B2 or higher.
- Team language: Russian is widely spoken within the team.
WOULD BE A PLUS
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and tools such as Postman.
- Understanding of KYC/KYB, AML, custody, and regulatory requirements in financial services.
- Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
- Experience analyzing complex integrations between internal systems and external providers.
