Treasury Specialist (PSP, Fintech)

Work Format: Fully remote, Full-time
Schedule: 5/2, standard working day at the start

From time to time, urgent requests may require availability via messenger during weekends.

Future Schedule: After approximately 3–4 months, a weekend shift / on-call schedule is planned.

From merchant payouts to PSP settlements, from balance control to crypto transactions — this is where fintech treasury meets high-volume payment operations.

We are launching a new payment company focused on iGaming and other high-risk industries.

The company will provide payment infrastructure for merchants operating in complex markets: processing, settlements, multi-PSP routing, and global payment flows across fiat and crypto.

To support the financial operations of this business, we are looking for a Treasury Specialist (Junior / Middle) who understands payment flows, can work confidently with transaction data, and is highly attentive to balances, settlements, and financial details.

Your Mission

Ensure that money moves correctly, balances are under control, and settlements are completed on time.

You will work with fiat and crypto flows, PSP settlements, merchant payouts, transaction records, and reconciliation processes, while communicating with payment providers and internal teams to resolve operational issues.

What You Will Do

Treasury & Settlements

• Process fiat and crypto settlements between payment providers and merchants
• Collect funds from PSPs and coordinate regular merchant payouts
• Calculate settlements taking into account fees, holds, rolling reserves, and contractual terms
• Monitor settlement status and identify delayed or missing payments
• Ensure that payments are processed accurately and on time

Balance & Transaction Control

• Monitor daily balances across bank accounts, crypto wallets, PSP accounts, and internal financial systems
• Track incoming and outgoing transactions
• Maintain accurate internal transaction records and financial registers
• Update transaction data in Google Sheets and internal accounting systems
• Monitor available balances and flag potential liquidity issues

Reconciliation & Adjustments

• Record and track chargebacks, refunds, and other payment adjustments
• Work closely with the Reconciliation team to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Investigate missing or unaccounted transactions
• Compare PSP reports, internal records, and actual fund movements
• Escalate unusual or unresolved discrepancies when required

PSP & Merchant Communication

• Communicate with PSPs, payment providers, and merchants regarding transactions, settlements, payouts, fees, and balances
• Follow up on delayed settlements and payment issues
• Collect and verify information required to resolve financial discrepancies
• Coordinate with internal Operations, Reconciliation, and Finance teams

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of the payments industry: PSP, acquiring, processing, settlement, payout, rolling reserve
• Previous experience in Treasury, Payments, Finance Operations, Reconciliation, or a similar role is an advantage
• Practical experience with cryptocurrency and understanding of basic blockchain and wallet operations
• Understanding of fiat and crypto transaction flows
• Experience working with financial data and transaction records

Hard Skills

• Google Sheets / Excel
• Ability to work with transaction data and financial calculations
• Ability to quickly understand new accounting systems, PSP dashboards, and internal financial tools
• Basic understanding of reconciliation processes
• Attention to transaction details, fees, balances, and settlement terms
