DevOps Tech Lead (Azure) Offline
Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Tech Lead to own and evolve the company’s cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices across multiple products and environments. You will combine technical leadership with team coordination, driving infrastructure modernization, CI/CD improvements, automation, observability, security, and cost optimization. The role involves close collaboration with the CTO and engineering teams, as well as mentoring and coordinating DevOps/SRE engineers.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate DevOps/SRE and infrastructure activities across multiple products and environments.
- Own and improve Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Drive infrastructure modernization, automation, and technical debt reduction.
- Improve deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and incident response processes.
- Ensure infrastructure security, access management, secrets management, and reliability.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and cloud costs.
- Build effective processes, documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing practices.
- Provide technical guidance, challenge infrastructure decisions when needed, and help the team make effective technical choices.
- Work closely with the CTO and engineering leads to prioritize initiatives and ensure delivery.
- Take ownership of infrastructure-related issues and improvements from identification through implementation.
Role Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related field, including technical/team leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Solid experience with CI/CD, preferably GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana or similar.
- Experience with infrastructure security, secrets management, and access control.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS environments.
- Experience reducing technical debt, improving automation, and optimizing infrastructure processes.
- Experience managing or coordinating DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure teams.
- Ability to work with scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash.
- Strong ownership, proactive problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical leadership and engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills: English B2+
Daily schedule
Our company supports work-life balance and allows you to tailor your schedule, which consists of 8 working hours and time for lunch. Shared business hours for most of our teams are 12 pm - 7 pm Kyiv time.
