Supply Chain and Sourcing Specialist

We are looking for a Supply Chain & Sourcing Specialist who will manage the import of dietary supplements into the US market — from supplier and customs compliance to on-time delivery into our warehouses and Amazon fulfillment network.

This is a Middle-level role — not a junior logistics-coordinator position. We need someone who understands the full mechanics of US supplement imports, not just tracks shipments.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and import of dietary supplements — from supplier coordination to delivery at destination (3PL / Amazon FBA).
• Ensure compliance with US import requirements for supplements: FDA Prior Notice, FSVP, Facility Registration, and related documentation.
• Review HTS/HS code classification, duties, and landed-cost calculations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers (sea and air) and manage the full documentation flow: purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork, COA.
• Work with suppliers on production timelines, quality control, and packaging/labeling specs (Supplement Facts panel).
• Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting and replenishment planning to avoid stockouts.
• Identify and address risks in the supply chain (delays, customs holds, quality issues) and propose solutions.
• Prepare regular reports on supply chain status and cost/efficiency metrics for management.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or import operations, ideally with dietary supplements or another FDA-regulated product category.
• Solid understanding of US import processes: customs clearance, HTS classification, duties, and supplement-specific compliance (FDA Prior Notice, FSVP, Facility Registration).
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs.
• Experience with Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central, FBA) is a strong advantage; experience with other marketplaces or purely B2B/wholesale supply chains is also welcome.
• Confident user of Excel/Google Sheets; experience with supply chain or inventory-planning tools is a plus.
• English — B2, sufficient for working with international suppliers and partners.
• Strong attention to detail, structured approach, and ability to manage multiple shipments/suppliers in parallel.

Nice to have

• Direct experience sourcing from China-based manufacturers (negotiation, QC checkpoints, COA review).
• Knowledge of supplement labeling regulations (Supplement Facts, FDA requirements).
• Experience with recognized US 3PLs (e.g., ShipBob, ShipMonk, ShipCalm).
• Understanding of Section 301 tariffs and duty-optimization strategies.
