Project manager/ construction project manager

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who can remotely coordinate construction projects in Pittsburgh, oversee contractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate the work of contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to construction schedules.
• Oversee the quality of construction work.
• Verify completed work quantities and ensure compliance with project documentation.
• Monitor materials, equipment, and resource utilization.
• Work with estimates, budgets, and construction costs.
• Review and analyze project and technical documentation.
• Maintain construction and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans and technical requirements.
• Communicate with company management, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate their resolution.
• Prepare regular project progress reports.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably in roles such as Construction Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Manager, Chief Engineer, or a similar position.
• Experience managing construction teams.
• Experience working with contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and workflows.
• Experience with construction estimates and budgets.
• Ability to develop and monitor construction schedules.
• Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to take responsibility for project results from start to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on construction projects in the United States.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and construction standards.
• Experience with residential construction, remodeling, or renovation projects.
• English proficiency sufficient for professional communication.
• Understanding of the construction market in Pennsylvania / Pittsburgh.
