Senior AI Agent Engineer

Project Description:

Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise AI agents, copilots, and multi-agent systems.

Responsibilities:

Build agents using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or other approved frameworks, including Python-based frameworks where appropriate.
Build or coordinate rapid prototypes and validate them with business users.
Develop prompts, instructions, tool definitions, routing, and orchestration workflows.
Implement grounding, citation, retrieval, context management, guardrails, and human-review patterns.
Integrate agents with enterprise tools and APIs.
Create automated evaluations and optimize answer quality, latency, reliability, observability, and cost.
Support production troubleshooting, monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous agent improvement.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
2+ years developing generative AI, AI assistant, or agent-based applications.
Strong Python skills and experience integrating REST APIs and cloud services.
Experience deploying secure, testable enterprise applications.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.
Experience with Semantic Kernel, MCP, multi-agent systems, or comparable orchestration frameworks.
Experience implementing RAG, evaluation pipelines, citations, and tool-use controls.
Azure AI Engineer or related certification
