Working hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday

We Require:

• Previous experience in transportation/logistics or driver management is preferred.
• Experience in the US transportation or trucking industry is a strong advantage.
• English — B-level or higher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong personality with the ability to persuade, motivate, and lead.
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, self-discipline, and a results-oriented mindset.

About the Role

The Driver Manager is responsible for managing and supporting company drivers while ensuring effective communication between drivers, the Operations team, and the company.

You will serve as the main point of contact for assigned drivers, helping resolve operational issues, coordinating routes and home-time requests, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The role requires balancing drivers’ needs with the company’s operational goals, profitability, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned drivers and maintain strong professional relationships with them.
• Monitor driver performance, attendance, safety, and compliance.
• Communicate load instructions clearly and ensure proper execution.
• Collaborate with planners to build efficient routes while considering driver home-time requests and company profitability.
• Address and resolve driver concerns and day-to-day operational issues.
• Provide internal teams with updates and feedback regarding driver needs.
• Ensure drivers follow company procedures, including safety and billing requirements.
• Coach and guide drivers on expectations and performance improvements.
• Handle conflicts and act as a negotiator when issues arise.
• Work closely with planners, CSRs, sales, and other Operations team members.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with drivers from different backgrounds and cultures.
