Product and UX/UI Designer

Farsight Vision develops AI-powered geospatial intelligence solutions for defence and security operations. We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to own motion control for our unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) end-to-end – from control theory on paper to a robot that actually moves the way you designed it to. This is not a role for someone who wants control loops handed to them pre-tuned: you will design, implement, and validate them on hardware yourself

Requirements:   
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design.
- Experience with web products, preferably complex systems.
- Strong skills specifically in UX and interaction design, not just visual design.
- Ability to handle complex user flows, large datasets, tables, maps, layers, and various system states.
- Ability to account for edge cases, loading/processing/error/empty states, and long-running asynchronous processes.
- Capable of independently managing the process from requirements to user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.
- Ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions, rather than simply presenting finished mockups.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar tools; the result matters more than the specific tool used.
- Experience with GIS/maps/geospatial/cartography, data-heavy applications, or technical products is a major plus.
- English proficiency sufficient for working with documentation and the team.
