Journalist/Editor

Adtelligent is a global product IT company in the advertising technology industry. We build solutions that help online media companies, digital advertising agencies, and ad networks monetise their websites and apps more effectively. We’re looking for a motivated Content Writer/Editor (Part-time) to join our team and help us tell our story clearly and compellingly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience as an editor or journalist (international desk preferred)
• Knowledge of trends in international journalism, current affairs, and international relations
• Active interest in world events
• Fluent English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Experience working with video and text news agencies is a plus
• Ability to present news clearly, quickly, accurately, and engagingly
• High productivity and stress resilience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring international news feeds
• Searching for interesting, exclusive stories from international sources
• Approving topics with management
• Writing short news pieces
• Making edits as needed

NICE TO HAVE:

• Knowledge of foreign languages other than English
• Ability to create videos that capture social media users’ attention
• Understanding of the basics of storytelling/dramaturgy
