About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst with a strong background in Foreign Exchange (FX) Trading and Investment Banking to join a strategic transformation programme.

The role combines product ownership, business analysis, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, trading teams, engineering teams, data scientists, and product leadership to define, deliver, and continuously improve business-critical trading and data-driven solutions.

Candidates with experience in AI-enabled products, automation, and data analytics will have a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product backlog, keeping priorities aligned with business goals and strategic objectives
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements from stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology
• Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional/technical specifications
• Manage the full product delivery lifecycle, from initial concept and requirements through development, testing, implementation, and post-production support
• Act as the key link between business stakeholders, engineering teams, solution architects, and data science teams
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, risks, dependencies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions
• Analyze system behavior, business processes, production incidents, and data to identify improvement opportunities
• Review application logs and datasets and work with technical teams to investigate and resolve issues
• Contribute to strategic initiatives involving AI, automation, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency
• Maintain business documentation, process flows, functional specifications, and product roadmaps
• Provide senior stakeholders with clear updates on delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst
• Proven experience delivering products throughout the full product lifecycle
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Experience managing complex stakeholder groups and balancing competing priorities
• Strong collaboration skills with software engineering, architecture, and delivery teams

FX & Investment Banking Expertise

• Several years of hands-on experience in the Foreign Exchange (FX) domain
• Strong knowledge of FX trading products, workflows, pricing, and the complete trade lifecycle
• Experience with FX trading platforms, electronic trading solutions, or similar investment banking applications
• Solid understanding of investment banking processes and trading operations
• Experience working with Front Office users, traders, sales, operations, and technology stakeholders

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable user stories
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
• Experience querying databases and working with large and complex datasets
• Ability to analyze application logs and investigate production issues
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and end-to-end data flows
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and workshop management skills
• Ability to influence decisions across both business and technology teams
• Experience working in large-scale, international, and geographically distributed organizations

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering AI/ML-powered products and solutions
• Exposure to Generative AI and LLM technologies, including chatbots, Copilot solutions, or NLP-enabled applications
• Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, model management, and governance
• Experience with AI solutions, business process automation, or intelligent workflows
• Familiarity with MLOps and AI governance frameworks
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Relevant certifications such as CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or PMP
