Middle Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)

Phoenix Games is a technology company building next-generation iGaming and Web3 products for a global audience. We develop scalable gaming platforms powered by modern web technologies, blockchain, AI, and high-performance backend systems.

As our products continue to grow, we're looking for a Middle Frontend Developer with strong frontend layout skills who can turn Figma designs into accurate, responsive, production-ready interfaces and is comfortable working extensively on the frontend of casino products.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build responsive and pixel-perfect interfaces for our iGaming and casino products.
• Do a significant amount of hands-on frontend layout work — translating designs into clean, accurate HTML/CSS/SCSS.
• Implement complex responsive/adaptive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Convert Figma designs into production-ready interfaces with high attention to visual details.
• Build reusable and maintainable React components.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Ensure consistent UI behavior across different browsers and screen sizes.
• Identify and fix visual, functional, and cross-browser issues.
• Collaborate closely with Designers, Backend Developers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend best practices.

Requirements

• Middle-level Frontend Developer.
• 1+ year of commercial experience with React.
• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Vite and SCSS.
• Strong HTML/CSS/SCSS skills are a must.
• Strong frontend layout skills and solid understanding of responsive/adaptive design.
• Experience building complex responsive interfaces from scratch.
• Willingness and ability to spend a significant part of the work on layout and UI implementation.
• Ability to accurately reproduce Figma designs in code, including spacing, typography, positioning, states, and responsive behavior.
• Strong understanding of Flexbox, Grid, positioning, media queries, and modern CSS techniques.
• Good eye for visual details and pixel-perfect implementation.
• Understanding of REST APIs and frontend/backend integration.
• Experience with Git and standard development workflows.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Ukrainian or English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in iGaming, casino, betting, or other high-traffic consumer products.
• Experience building mobile-first and highly responsive interfaces.
• Experience with animations and interactive UI.
• Experience creating reusable UI component systems.
• Familiarity with frontend testing tools.
• Understanding of web performance optimization.
• Experience with Web3 or blockchain products.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
