Product Development Manager โ€” Life Sciences

$$$$

About the Role

Deep Knowledge Group is seeking a universal Product Development Manager to turn its Life Sciences, Longevity and human-performance research and intellectual property into practical, testable and commercially usable products.

This is deliberately not structured as a conventional BioTech product-manager role.

The successful candidate may come from Product Management, technology, operations, consulting, entrepreneurship, FinTech, consumer products or another execution-focused environment. What matters is the ability to enter a difficult subject, understand it rapidly, challenge assumptions, structure an MVP and coordinate multiple specialist teams toward deployment.

Product Environment

The role may support products and project families including:

  • mLongevity โ€” https://www.longevity.group/modular-longevity
  • Dubai Longevity Constellation โ€” https://www.longevity.group/constellation
  • Longevity Club โ€” https://www.longevity.group/club
  • Longevity Banking Card โ€” https://www.longevity.group/card
  • Gulf Longevity Intelligence Group โ€” https://www.longevity.group/glig
  • diagnostics and biomarkers intelligence;
  • Longevity and HealthTech analytics;
  • Longevity Blueprints and LBams/API-AMS;
  • breathing, hypoxia and human-performance projects;
  • other practical Longevity Medicine products.

Core Mandate

Take ideas, research, protocols, datasets, blueprints and existing technical assets and convert them into:

clear product definition โ†’ MVP โ†’ validated user/commercial proposition โ†’ working deployment โ†’ iteration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product objectives, users, problems, scope and success criteria.
  • Translate scientific or technical research into practical product requirements.
  • Create product roadmaps, MVP scopes, user journeys and structured implementation plans.
  • Separate what is essential for deployment from what can wait.
  • Coordinate Data Science, IT, scientific specialists, designers, MarTech, BD and external providers.
  • Ensure product-development work progresses even when not every underlying research question is fully resolved.
  • Define product features and acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluate competitor products and alternative solutions.
  • Develop business-model and commercialization hypotheses together with BD.
  • Build or improve pricing, packaging and positioning logic.
  • Coordinate scientific/technical validation where necessary without allowing validation processes to become an excuse for indefinite non-deployment.
  • Identify external technologies, vendors and partners that can accelerate the product.
  • Track product readiness, blockers and decisions.
  • Conduct practical user, partner or customer validation.
  • Manage launch and post-launch iteration.

Candidate Profile

DKG's current Life Sciences hiring direction intentionally prioritizes universal operators and strong project/product managers over default recruitment from conventional medical and biotechnology career tracks.

A medical or BioTech degree is therefore not required.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are personally engaged with areas such as longevity, self-quantification, biohacking, human performance or evidence-based health optimization โ€” including candidates whose careers were built outside conventional medicine.

The important combination is:

open-minded + skeptical + evidence-disciplined + execution-oriented.

The person should be capable of challenging both mainstream assumptions and unsubstantiated longevity hype.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in product management, product development, project leadership, operations, entrepreneurship or a comparable execution role.
  • Demonstrated history of moving a product or complex project from concept toward deployment.
  • Ability to rapidly learn scientific and technical domains.
  • Strong analytical and systems thinking.
  • Excellent project structuring and prioritization.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination.
  • Practical AI fluency.
  • Excellent English.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguity.

Strong Advantages

  • Personal or professional experience with Longevity, quantified self, biohacking, human performance or preventive-health technologies.
  • Experience with IHHT/hypoxia, wearable data, diagnostics or consumer health products.
  • Digital-health, FinTech, marketplace, real-estate technology or membership-product experience.
  • Experience with physical products/facilities as well as software.
  • Startup or 0-to-1 product background.

What Success Looks Like

Success is not a longer roadmap.

Success is a sequence of better-defined products, smaller and faster MVPs, real external validation, resolved blockers and products moving into practical use or commercialization.
