Product (UX/UI) Design Lead

• Game Development — browser-first games for global audiences, centered on reward-driven progression and long-term engagement.
• Digital Advertising — high-performance advertising and affiliate platforms across Web2 and Web3 markets.
We are looking for a Product (UX/UI) Design Lead to lead Product Design for our gaming project while remaining actively involved in hands-on design work. You will be responsible for the overall Product Design direction, quality, processes, and development of the Product Design Team, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience across the product.
Responsibilities:
- Remain actively involved in hands-on Product UX/UI Design while leading the team;
- Own the holistic Product Design experience and ensure consistency across features, flows, devices, platforms, and areas owned by different designers;
- Define and maintain the Product Design vision, strategy, direction, and overall quality bar;
- Maintain and evolve Product Design principles, patterns, guidelines, and the Design System;
- Use User Research, User Feedback, Product data, market context, and competitor analysis to identify and prioritize UX problems and improvement opportunities;
- Maintain clear, efficient, and scalable Product Design processes and continuously improve how the team works;
- Ensure effective planning and delivery, with clear priorities, ownership, realistic workload, and timely resolution of blockers and dependencies;
- Ensure effective collaboration between Design, Product, Development, and other stakeholders, and maintain Design quality through implementation;
- Maintain the right team structure, capacity, and skill balance, and participate in hiring and onboarding when needed;
- Manage designer performance through regular 1:1s, feedback, skills evaluation, and clear expectations;
- Coach and develop designers through mentoring, Individual Development Plans, career development, and learning opportunities;
- Build autonomy, ownership, accountability, and independent decision-making across the team;
- Communicate clear direction and purpose, motivate the team, and recognize individual and team achievements;
- Maintain a healthy, inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Product UX/UI Design experience in B2C product companies;
- 2+ years of people management experience, leading a Product Design team of 2+ people;
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex B2C digital products and end-to-end Product Design work;
- Strong Product Thinking and ability to connect User needs, business goals, Product data, and Design decisions;
- Strong UX skills, including complex User Flows, Information Architecture, interaction patterns, prototyping, and usability;
- Strong UI and Visual Design craft with excellent attention to consistency, hierarchy, usability, and detail;
- Experience conducting or working with User Research, usability testing, User Feedback, and Product analytics;
- Strong understanding of Design Systems and experience maintaining scalable Design patterns and components;
- Experience designing desktop and mobile websites, as well as mobile applications, with a strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design patterns;
- Advanced Figma skills, including Variables, Auto Layout, Components, Libraries, and scalable file organization, with the ability to establish and maintain Figma standards across the team;
- Experience establishing and improving Product Design processes and ways of working;
- Strong people management skills, including 1:1s, feedback, performance management, coaching, development, delegation, and team motivation;
- Ability to build autonomous teams and enable designers to independently own decisions and outcomes;
- Strong planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills;
- English B2+ with confident spoken communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Genuine interest in gaming and personal experience as an active or patient gamer, with a good understanding of game mechanics and player experiences;
- Interest in Web3 gaming, virtual economies, and related products;
- Previous Product Design experience in the gaming industry;
- Experience working with pixel art, pixel-inspired UI, or pixel-based visual styles;
- Experience working with complex, engagement-driven or economy-driven B2C products;
- Experience using AI tools and vibe coding for rapid prototyping, concept validation, and Design exploration;
- Basic understanding of front-end development;
- Product Design, UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, or related education.
