Lead SEO and GEO Specialist

Coinask.ai — a B2C AI SaaS product at the intersection of AI, Crypto, and FinTech.
 

We're looking for a hands-on Lead SEO & GEO Specialist who will take ownership of Coinask's organic visibility across Google and AI-powered search — from the technical SEO foundation and search intent to GEO, authority building, and results measurement.
 

This isn't a classic SEO copywriter or link-builder role. You'll build the system that makes Coinask easier to find, understand, and get referenced in both traditional and generative search.
 

About the Role

Search is changing: alongside classic Google, AI-powered search and answer engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and others — are growing fast.

Your job is to build the system:

Technical SEO → Search Intent → Semantic Authority → AI Visibility → Organic Growth
 

You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing, Lead Brand & Community Manager, Product, and Engineering, turning search and audience-behavior data into concrete SEO/GEO initiatives.

 

Your Responsibilities

• SEO & Organic Search Strategy: develop and execute Coinask's SEO strategy — keyword research, search intent, semantic clusters, content opportunities, on-page SEO, and internal linking.
• Technical SEO: own crawlability, indexability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, canonicalization, robots.txt, sitemap, and Schema.org. Identify issues and write specs for Engineering.
• GEO / AI Search Visibility: track Coinask's presence in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and other AI search experiences; find citation gaps, competitor gaps, and opportunities to grow AI visibility.
• SEO Content Strategy: identify content gaps and write SEO/GEO briefs for the Brand & Community team — what to create, for which search intent, and what structure and topics to cover.
• Authority & Digital PR: identify relevant crypto/tech media and authoritative platforms, run outreach, negotiate placements, and see quality mentions and backlinks through to publication.
• Analytics & Measurement: build the SEO/GEO measurement system: organic traffic, rankings, conversions, backlinks, AI visibility, citations, and the organic channel's contribution to acquisition.
• Use AI and automation for research, semantic analysis, competitor research, data processing, monitoring, and scaling SEO processes.
  
   

What We Expect From You

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Technical SEO / Organic Growth / SEO Management, ideally in B2C SaaS, AI, Crypto, Web3, or FinTech.
• Deep understanding of Technical SEO, semantic SEO, search intent, and authority/link building.
• Confident with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs / Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
• Understand the principles of AI Search / GEO / AEO, citation patterns, and how AI systems find and use sources.
• Able to run SEO audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis, and turn findings into concrete actions.
• Hands-on experience in link building / SEO outreach and securing quality editorial placements.
• Technical literacy — comfortable working with HTML, Schema.org, and web architecture, and writing specs for Engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking: able to turn data into SEO hypotheses, priorities, and experiments.
• High autonomy and ownership — able to independently move from opportunity → strategy → execution → measurement.
• Fluent English for working with the Western search landscape, English-language semantics, and international media.

• Experience with AI products / AI-native SaaS.
• Experience in Crypto / FinTech / Web3.
• Hands-on experience with GEO/AEO platforms and AI search monitoring.
• Python / SQL or automation via n8n, Make, or similar tools.
• Understanding of YMYL, trust, and compliance in financial and crypto products.
