Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst
We're looking for a cross-functional Technical Project Manager who pairs strong delivery and business analysis skills with real, hands-on depth in a technical area.
You'll be one of 3-4 people in a tight delivery pod, where every member, including you, directly advances the work. So alongside owning delivery, you'll actively contribute in your area of strength: shaping a prototype, refining the UX, tuning an LLM pipeline, or working with data β whatever lets the pod ship faster and better.
Role Overview
As the PM/BA in the pod, you're the bridge between the client and the engineers you work alongside β and often the person who turns a vague idea into a concrete, buildable spec. You'll lead discovery, define requirements, keep delivery on track, and roll up your sleeves in the technical area you know best.
What you'll do
- Own delivery end to end β plan, prioritize, track, and ship web / GenAI application development projects for a global pharmaceutical company from discovery through launch
- Do the business analysis yourself β run discovery, elicit and document requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and turn ambiguity into a clear, buildable scope
- Contribute hands-on in your area of strength β depending on your background, that might mean building a prototype, shaping the UI/UX, or helping the client to structure their data. You bring depth in one of these, not all of them
- Be the client's point of contact β align expectations, communicate progress, and manage change requests and scope
- Scope and estimate. Turn client briefs into structured requirements, assumptions, risks, and dependencies. Produce work breakdowns and estimates with the team. Defend the numbers to stakeholders and adjust them as the scope clarifies.
- De-risk the project β spot and mitigate delivery risks, including AI-specific ones like model hallucinations, data privacy, and LLM output quality
- Coordinate UAT and final reviews before handoff to the client
- Keep documentation lean and accurate, and continuously improve how the pod works
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
- 5+ years as a PM or BA in software development
- Strong Business Analysis skills β you can independently run discovery, gather and document requirements, and write user stories and acceptance criteria (this is core to the role, not optional)
- Interest and willingness to learn the client's business domain
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and practical experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
- Proven ability to manage client communication, prioritization, and scope
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proficiency with PM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working autonomously in a small team
- Experience with AI/ML project delivery β knowing how to scope, plan, and manage work involving Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-powered features, and explain AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical people alike
Nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on depth in at least one technical discipline β for example development, UI/UX design, analytics, or data processing. We don't expect all of them; we expect real craft in one
- Experience with enterprise pharma or medical clients, agency environments, or multilingual/multi-market projects
- Awareness of compliance basics (e.g., GDPR, accessibility)
What you'll get
- Competitive compensation based on experience and skills.
- 20 working days of paid vacation plus paid sick leave.
- Health insurance package.
- Coverage for courses, certifications and tech conferences.
- Fully remote working environment with flexible hours and reasonable overlap for collaboration.
Long-term, varied projects with the chance to influence technical decisions, in a collaborative team with minimal bureaucracy.
About the project
You'll join a lean, senior delivery pod that takes on the client's mid- to complex-sized projects β the kind that need sharp requirements, solid architecture decisions, and hands-on execution to land well. Rather than a single fixed product, expect a stream of substantial engagements where the pod owns delivery end to end, from discovery through launch.
Work spans web development and Generative AI β for example, a standalone chatbot application powered by GenAI that helps users query, extract insights from, and act on complex documents with speed and accuracy. These are long-term Agile engagements with real technical depth, where a small, high-trust team is trusted to scope, build, and ship complexity β and where your combined PM/BA and hands-on strengths directly shape the outcome.
