Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company developing AI-powered solutions for enterprise environments.

In this role, you will lead the development of AI-powered full-stack applications while mentoring and supporting other engineers. You’ll remain hands-on across the stack while taking ownership of technical direction, code quality, architecture, and delivery standards.

You’ll work closely with engineering, AI/ML, and product teams to build scalable and reliable systems that support real-time AI-driven workflows.
 

Responsibilities
 

• Design and build full-stack applications that power AI-driven workflows for enterprise users.
• Oversee and review the work of other engineers, ensuring high-quality, production-ready code.
• Provide technical guidance, architectural direction, and hands-on engineering support.
• Develop high-performance front-end interfaces for AI agent control, monitoring, and visualization.
• Build scalable backend services supporting real-time AI interactions, knowledge retrieval, and automation.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and automation into production-ready systems.
• Establish engineering best practices across testing, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Continuously improve AI-driven products while balancing development speed, scalability, and robustness.
   

Requirements
 

• 10+ years of hands-on experience building full-stack production applications.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Backend development experience using Python.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable architectures.
• Understanding of AI-powered applications, including LLMs, chat interfaces, and agentic workflows.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and AI/ML teams.
   

Nice to Have
 

• Experience building AI-powered applications with LLM integrations.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or enterprise technology environments.
• Strong UI/UX sense and experience building intuitive, AI-driven interfaces.
• Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data streaming.
• Contributions to open-source projects or experience building developer tools for AI.
