AI-native AQA Engineer (Complex Banking and Enterprise Platform)

We're looking for an Automation QA Engineer who will own the automated quality gate of Trigger Neobank Engine — our flagship platform for building fully digital banks.

This is not a "write UI tests for a landing page" role. You will automate a configuration-driven, server-rendered banking runtime where the same test suite must survive dozens of different client configurations.

We're looking for a problem solver, not a ping-pong player who forwards logs to developers.

We'd rather work with an open-minded, fast-learning middle-grade engineer than a well-seasoned, snail-paced C-level genius.

We use LLMs and AI agents as a core engineering tool every single day: generating and reviewing test cases, building and repairing test code, analyzing logs and API responses, generating test data, writing documentation. Candidates without hands-on, provable AI experience will not be considered.

In the interview we will ask you to show your actual workflow: your prompts, your agents, your automation. "I sometimes ask ChatGPT" is not an answer.

🚀 Project

Trigger Neobank Engine lets banks, fintechs, and telecoms launch full digital banking products — onboarding, payments, cards, credit modules, corporate banking — 5x faster and at 10x lower cost.

You will automate:

• Mobile and web banking apps generated by a server-driven Interface Engine
• REST APIs, microservices, integrations with core banking, card processing, KYC and payment providers
• Mission-critical flows: onboarding, KYC, SCA, payments, card issuing, credit decisioning
• Multi-step, stateful business processes with real money semantics

🎯 What you'll do

• Design and maintain the e2e automation framework
• Build API-level test suites and use them as the fast, stable backbone of regression
• Automate configuration-driven scenarios: one suite, many client configurations
• Integrate tests into CI/CD; own execution time, stability, and signal quality
• Prepare test data and environment state programmatically, not by hand
• Use AI agents to generate, refactor, and self-heal tests, and to triage failures before a human looks at them
• Validate integrations: inspect logs, traces, queue messages, DB state
• Turn recurring defects into permanent automated checks
• Contribute to QA standards, test architecture, and AI-driven testing practices

🛠 Required

• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience
• Real, provable experience using AI tools in engineering work — mandatory
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript (or Python) — you write code, not just record it
• Playwright, Cypress, or an equivalent modern e2e framework in production use
• Solid REST API testing: Postman, Swagger, and code-level API clients
• Understanding of test architecture: page objects/fixtures, parallelism, isolation, retries, reporting
• CI/CD experience (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• SQL for validation queries
• Ability to read logs, inspect responses, and localize defects to a component
• Intermediate English or higher

• Performance/load testing: k6, JMeter, Gatling
• Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, observability stacks
• Own AI workflows: prompt libraries, custom agents, AI-assisted test generation pipelines
• Experience with server-driven UI, configuration-based or no-code platforms
• Banking, fintech, or enterprise-grade systems background
