We are looking for an IT Specialist with a strong focus on IT Asset Management and System Administration (Windows). The role combines hands-on technical support, lifecycle device management, and basic system administration. The specialist will be responsible for configuring and maintaining user devices, resolving software issues, and supporting internal users on demand.
This role requires B1+ English communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to explain technical topics clearly at a basic level to non technical users.
Key Responsibilities
IT Asset Management:
— Maintain inventory of company IT assets (laptops, peripherals, accessories).
— Track asset lifecycle: procurement, setup, assignment, replacement, and decommissioning.
— Search for IT equipment availability across European markets using online tools and vendor platforms.
— Communicate with store managers and suppliers via email and messengers to confirm availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
System Administration & Workstation Management:
— Install, reinstall, and configure Windows 11 on company devices.
— Perform initial system setup: drivers, system updates, security settings, and standard configurations.
— Install, configure, and update required software and tools.
— Ensure devices are ready for employee use according to internal standards.
IT Support & Troubleshooting:
— Provide on-demand IT support to internal users.
— Diagnose and resolve software-related issues (OS, applications, drivers, system settings).
— Apply structured troubleshooting steps and escalate issues when required.
— Clearly explain issues and solutions to users in a simple, understandable way.
Documentation & Communication:
— Document common issues, solutions, and configuration steps.
— Communicate clearly with non-technical users and internal stakeholders.
— Use Google Search efficiently to quickly find solutions, documentation,
drivers, and vendors.
Requirements
— Proven 0,5+ years of experience as an IT Support Specialist/ System Administrator/Hardware Specialist, or similar role.
— Understanding of Windows 11 principles and architecture.
— Hands-on experience with: OS installation and reinstallation, System configuration and optimization, Software installation and troubleshooting.
— Basic understanding of IT hardware (laptops, monitors, peripherals).
— Ability to independently research solutions using online resources.
— Intermediate B1+ English level or higher (verbal and written).
— Ability to explain technical topics on a basic, user-friendly level.
— Confident written communication via email and messengers.
— Strong problem-solving mindset.
— Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
— Attention to detail in asset tracking and documentation.
— Responsible and service-oriented approach to internal support.
Nice to Have
— Experience with IT asset tracking tools or spreadsheets.
— Familiarity with remote support tools.
— Experience working with distributed or international teams.
