MDM Administration

Project Overview:

We are migrating the management of corporate laptops from our legacy MDM platform to two industry-standard solutions: JAMF Pro for macOS devices and Microsoft Intune for Windows devices.
The project covers the full migration lifecycle — inventory and policy audit, platform configuration, phased device enrollment, and decommissioning of the legacy system — with a firm requirement for minimal end-user disruption and full configuration parity throughout.

Customer Overview:

Our client is a leading enterprise influencer marketing platform trusted by global brands to discover, manage, and measure creator marketing campaigns at scale. The platform provides end-to-end solutions for influencer discovery, campaign management, content tracking, analytics, reporting, and ROI measurement, helping some of the world’s largest consumer brands optimize their creator marketing programs through data-driven insights and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Audit and document all existing configuration profiles, policies, and scripts for your platform
• Replicate all profiles and policies into the target MDM platform with full configuration parity
• Execute the pilot migration wave, validate all policies, and document findings before broader rollout
• Lead technical execution of each migration wave; confirm device compliance before unenrolling from ManageEngine
• Define and document a rollback procedure for each wave before it begins
• Produce a platform configuration runbook, administrator SOP, and end-user enrollment guide
• Deliver handover training to the IT team on daily operations of the target platform
• Attend weekly project status meetings and report progress against the migration wave plan
• Participate in joint security review sessions to validate configuration parity with the Security team
• Provide second-line escalation support to the Helpdesk during and after each migration wave
• Maintain an accurate migration tracker: enrollment status, compliance state, and open remediation items

Skills/Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on MDM administration in a corporate environment (JAMF Pro or Microsoft Intune)
• Experience managing endpoints at scale — 200+ devices minimum
• Prior MDM migration experience (from ManageEngine or any legacy platform)
• Solid understanding of MDM concepts: enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and software deployment
• Familiarity with identity and directory services: Azure AD / Entra ID or Apple Business Manager
• Understanding of certificate-based authentication and PKI fundamentals
• Scripting skills for automation and remediation (Bash, Shell, PowerShell, or Python)
• Network security fundamentals: NAC, 802.1X, VPN, split tunnelling
