Lead Product Designer

You'll lead product design at SkinnyRx end-to-end — from defining the problem and shaping the product direction to shipping polished UI.

This is a Lead Product Design role with a strong UI focus. You'll set the bar for visual craft across the product while working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Head of Product and executive team on what we build, why we build it, and how it comes to life.

AI is deeply embedded in how we work. You'll use it across the entire design process — from exploration and content generation to prototyping and production.

What you'll do

• Own product design end-to-end across the SkinnyRx app and web — from problem definition and UX flows to final shipped UI
• Set and evolve the visual design bar for the product, creating a cohesive, high-quality experience across onboarding, patient dashboards, intake, billing, and content surfaces
• Partner directly with the Head of Product and executive team to shape product direction, prioritize opportunities, and turn ideas into shipped experiences
• Generate and art-direct AI-produced content — product imagery, illustration, lifestyle photography, micro-animations, and video — at a quality that feels intentional and distinctly SkinnyRx
• Prototype interactively — in Figma when precision matters and in code via AI tools when realism and speed matter
• Build systems and patterns that let the team move quickly without sacrificing craft or consistency

• Partner closely with engineering, copy, and marketing through tight, iterative shipping cycles

   

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in product design, with experience owning meaningful consumer product experiences end-to-end
• A standout UI portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft and shipped consumer work
• Strong product judgment — you can move beyond executing requirements and help determine what should be built and why
• The ability to operate independently and lead through the work, bringing back thoughtful options rather than blockers
• Deep, daily use of AI throughout your workflow, including:
  • Imagery & video: Midjourney, Sora, Runway, Kling, Nano Banana
  • Code prototyping: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex
  • Design & production: Figma AI, MCP-based workflows

• Comfort moving between product thinking, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and production details
