JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Middle+ / Senior) to take ownership of product quality across our mobile application, web platform, admin panel, and APIs.
You will be responsible for manual and automated testing, release acceptance, regression testing, and continuous improvement of our QA processes and automation framework.
This is a key role for someone who understands the specifics of financial products, is comfortable working across multiple product layers, and wants to have a real impact on product quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own QA for product releases across mobile, web, admin, and API.
- Plan and execute functional and regression testing using a risk-based approach.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Python or TypeScript and tools such as Playwright or pytest.
- Build and maintain test cases, checklists, and release coverage.
- Test financial flows, integrations, and third-party services.
- Identify, investigate, and clearly document bugs, working closely with developers and product teams.
- Contribute to our BDD-based QA framework and AI-powered testing approach.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to improve test design, automation, analysis, and everyday QA workflows.
- Support high-impact releases and ensure products meet quality standards before production.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 4+ years of QA experience in fintech, banking, payments, crypto, or other financial products.
- Strong understanding of financial flows: balances, transactions, holds, limits, statuses, and idempotency.
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications, web platforms, and APIs.
- Experience with test automation using Python or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Playwright, pytest, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with BDD/Gherkin and CI/CD.
- Confident API testing experience with REST, Postman, curl, and logs.
- Strong understanding of regression testing and release processes.
- Experience testing integrations, webhooks, authentication, and external providers.
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day QA work.
- English - working proficiency; Russian - international team language.
- Availability for at least 4–5 hours of daily overlap with Dubai (GMT+4).
WOULD BE A PLUS
- Experience with KYC/KYB, compliance, sanctions screening, Travel Rule, limits, and restrictions.
- Experience with Flutter, iOS/Android testing, or mobile E2E automation.
- Experience with load testing or troubleshooting flaky E2E tests.
- Experience with data migrations, financial reconciliation, or banking-core cutovers.
- Experience with visual regression testing.
