AI Automation Lead

About the role

We are looking for an AI Automation & Agentic Systems Lead who will own the company's AI transformation.

This role is much broader than software development.

You will analyze how every department operates, identify bottlenecks, redesign business processes, build AI agents, automate workflows, and implement AI solutions that become part of employees' daily work.

Your responsibility is not simply writing code—your responsibility is delivering measurable business outcomes through AI.

We are looking for someone who naturally asks:

"Can this process be automated?"

instead of

"Who should do this manually?"

Your responsibilities

• Own the company's AI automation strategy.
• Analyze business processes across all departments.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven optimization.
• Design and build production-ready AI agents.
• Create internal AI products and automation tools.
• Integrate LLMs into business workflows.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using company knowledge.
• Develop multi-agent systems.
• Integrate internal and external APIs.
• Build dashboards and analytical tools.
• Automate reporting and decision-support systems.
• Design AI-first workflows for HR, Finance, Legal, Operations, Recruiting, Marketing, Customer Support, and Engineering.
• Collaborate directly with department heads to understand business needs.
• Measure the impact of automation using business metrics.
• Continuously improve and scale AI solutions.

Required experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python or TypeScript.
• Experience building production AI applications.
• Experience designing and deploying AI agents.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar LLM APIs.
• Experience with RAG architectures.
• Experience with vector databases.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building internal business tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong systems thinking.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.

AI-first mindset

We are specifically looking for engineers who:

• naturally use AI in their daily work;
• think AI-first rather than process-first;
• design autonomous workflows instead of manual operations;
• build AI systems instead of simply consuming AI tools;
• look for automation opportunities before adding headcount.

We're looking for builders, not prompt users.

Must-have

Real production experience building AI Agents.

This role is not about prompt engineering alone.

You should have experience building AI systems that:

• use tools and APIs;
• maintain memory and context;
• orchestrate multiple agents;
• perform autonomous tasks;
• are used by real users in production.

Success after 3 months
