AI Integration Engineer (Python)

We are looking for an AI Integration Engineer (Python) to join our client's team on a UK insurtech project. 

Responsibilities: 

• Configure and deploy product journeys on the platform for each carrier or MGA partner 
• Build and maintain integrations with policy admin systems, quoting engines, and data feeds 
• Own data mapping and schema translation between the platform's data model and each insurer's existing architecture 
• Spot recurring patterns across deployments and turn them into platform improvements 
• Conduct technical scoping for new insurer partnerships, defining feasibility and required effort 

• Help define what a genuinely good AI insurance journey looks like in production 

   

Requirements: 

• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with API integration and data mapping — real integration work 
• Strong Python experience, with a solid API/integration background 
• Insurance, insurtech, or closely adjacent background — a real understanding of how carriers, MGAs, and intermediaries operate 
• Day-one fluency with agentic tooling such as Claude Code, LangGraph/LangChain, or equivalent — not necessarily building pipelines from scratch, but able to hit the ground running 
• Comfortable being client-facing — equally at ease in a carrier meeting and in a terminal, sometimes in the same afternoon 
• A proactive mindset: someone who gets frustrated when a platform limits what they can deliver for a customer, and takes action to fix it 
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
