UI/UX Researcher

Senior UI/UX Researcher needed for an innovative AI-driven construction project management platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead customer research through interviews, discovery sessions, and design workshops
• Map and document user workflows and journeys across construction project roles
• Design and iterate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma
• Build and maintain a consistent design system (components, patterns, key UI states)
• Collaborate with engineers for seamless handoff between design and development
• Translate complex, data-heavy processes into clear, intuitive user experiences
• Define how AI assistants interact with users
• Present research findings and design rationale to internal teams and clients
• Conduct usability checks and gather feedback to improve designs

Must-have:

• Expertise in designing complex, data-heavy, technical software
• Strong user research and usability testing skills
• Figma proficiency and high-fidelity prototyping
• Design systems experience
• Ability to facilitate client-facing workshops and discovery sessions
• Systems thinking and logical user journey mapping
• Skill in simplifying and organizing complex information

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with agentic or human-in-the-loop products
• Familiarity with 3D models, CAD, GIS, or project management tools
• Strong visual design skills (layout, typography, visual hierarchy)
