Senior PHP Developer (Symfony / DDD / CQRS)

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with a strong architectural mindset to lead the development of our core systems.

You won't just be writing code; you will be responsible for the technical excellence of the product. You will design complex business domains, mentor middle developers, and ensure that our Symfony-based applications remain modular, testable, and resilient under high load.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop new backend modules and services from scratch.
• Make architectural decisions based on business requirements.
• Build scalable and maintainable applications using PHP 8.3+ and Symfony.
• Design domain models following Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Apply CQRS and Event-Driven Architecture where appropriate.
• Work with RabbitMQ/Kafka and asynchronous messaging.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor middle-level developers.
• Lead refactoring initiatives and reduce technical debt.
• Drive testing strategy across Unit, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams on technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial PHP development experience.
• Strong experience with PHP 8+.
• Deep expertise in Symfony.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience implementing CQRS and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience working with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous communication.
• Experience designing modular or microservice-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience with automated testing (Unit, Integration, E2E).
• Excellent communication skills and mentoring experience.
