Delivery Director
We are looking for a Delivery Director who will manage the successful delivery of all projects and services of UnderDefense.
The ideal candidate should have a great experience simultaneously managing multiple projects with remote teams. This person should be the Leader of the Project Management Team and daily lead it by example.
We are looking for a Personality and Leader with strong communication skills who will be accountable for high-quality project/services delivery, supervising accounts management and keep great talents happy with challenges and work environment.
As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be building trustworthy relationships with clients, proactively identifying and mitigating their issues, managing people & projects, taking needed actions to expand the existing business, and strengthening the Project Management Team.
Location: Lviv (hybrid) or fully remote from other locations in Ukraine
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working in IT, including a proven track record as a Senior/Program Project Manager — this is a required background, not a nice-to-have
- Proven experience leading or scaling a PM/delivery team, with a track record of delegating execution rather than personally carrying it
- Proficient (Upper/Advanced) verbal and written English
- Structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Excellent business acumen with practical experience growing existing accounts (upsell/cross-sell), not just protecting them
- Self-motivated, reliable, quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have: background in a large consulting/service company (Big4-type environment)
Responsibilities:
Strategic (primary focus):
- Own Delivery business unit strategy: revenue growth, upsell/cross-sell, service expansion across CISO, Pentest, and Dev lines
- Setting annual KPI/OKR for PM and Delivery Team
- Building trustworthy client relationships, technical pre-sales management
- Building and scaling the PM team — hiring, mentoring, education
- Strengthening culture and cross-team collaboration
Operational (owned end-to-end, executed through the team — not personally):
- Lead Project Management Team
- Onboarding new projects and services
- Supervising project/services execution via PMs
- Measuring and presenting Delivery Team performance
- Managing project/services pipeline
- Managing staffing/recruiting process
- People management
