Senior Python Engineer
Project Overview
Recorded Future is a leading cybersecurity product company that delivers threat intelligence solutions used by organizations worldwide. The team develops products that help customers collect, analyze, and act on cybersecurity data.
The successful candidate will join the Web Surface Team within the Product Insights organization. The team is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating third-party services, and developing backend solutions that support business analytics and product insights.
This is a long-term replacement position in a small, highly autonomous international team consisting of developers from Ukraine, the UK, and the US.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python
- Design and implement integrations with third-party APIs
- Build and improve data pipelines
- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions
- Maintain existing functionality and implement new features
- Write automated tests using pytest
- Investigate production issues and proactively improve the platform
- Collaborate closely with an international engineering team
Required Skills
- 4+ years of commercial Python development experience
- Strong knowledge of FastAPI and/or Flask
- Experience with asynchronous programming (async/await)
- Hands-on experience with: MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kibana, Grafana, Pytest
- Experience integrating third-party APIs
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions
- Strong communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate+)
