Senior AI Product Architect / Fractional CTO
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior AI Product Architect / Fractional CTO.
About the Product
A B2B marketing platform for global marketing agencies and brands, evolving from a workflow-based UI to an agent-first control plane where AI agents execute campaigns on behalf of users.
The platform focuses on multi-tenant architecture, secure AI access control, agent orchestration, and scalable enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Own the overall technical architecture of the platform
- Design complex multi-tenant systems and define architectural decisions
- Create architectural documentation, API specifications, and high-level system designs
- Lead and mentor a remote development team
- Establish architecture standards, code reviews, and quality gates
- Design secure AI agent authorization and permissions architecture
- Drive technical decisions across distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Work closely with the development team to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions
Requirements:
- 10+ years of overall software development experience
- 3+ years of experience in software architecture / system design
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js / TypeScript
- 2+ years of experience building AI / LLM applications
- 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and database architecture
- 1+ year of experience with multi-agent systems and agent orchestration
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS architectures
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Experience with authorization architecture (RBAC, ABAC, or similar permission models)
- Experience with Kafka or other message queue systems
- Proven ability to create architectural documentation and API specifications
- Strong technical leadership and experience managing remote engineering teams
- Ability to be hands-on when needed and guide the team through architectural decisions
