Backend / Full Stack Developer (Node.js + Shopify)
We are looking for an experienced Backend / Full Stack Developer to join our team and build scalable backend systems, Shopify applications, business integrations, automations, and AI-powered solutions for leading eCommerce brands.
This is not a Shopify website development role. You'll work on complex backend architecture, APIs, integrations, internal tools, and business automation.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design and build REST and GraphQL APIs
• Develop Shopify Apps, Shopify Functions, and Checkout Extensions
• Build integrations with Shopify, ERP systems, payment providers, HubSpot, Monday.com, Meta, and other third-party platforms
• Create synchronization systems for orders, products, inventory, customers, and payments
• Develop background jobs, queues, ETL pipelines, and business automations
• Design scalable database structures and backend architecture
• Build AI-powered internal tools and client solutions
• Improve system performance, scalability, security, and reliability
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams
Requirements
• 3+ years of commercial backend development experience
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience developing Shopify Apps (mandatory)
• Experience with Shopify Admin API (GraphQL), Shopify Functions, and Checkout Extensions
• Strong experience building REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Experience with Express.js or NestJS
• Knowledge of OAuth2, Webhooks, queues, and API rate limiting
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP

• SaaS product development
• Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
