We're looking for a Senior Fullstack & AI/ML Engineer to implement AI solutions that automate operational business processes. We need someone who can own solutions end-to-end — from prototype and architecture through production — and is responsible for the full product stack: UI, backend, data, and the AI layer.

12. Make architectural decisions and set technical standards.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of commercial React development experience (production-level).
• 3+ years of commercial experience building AI/ML solutions (NLP, LLM).
• 1.5+ years of hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic/Google), structured outputs, function calling / tool use, RAG.
• Experience with prompt engineering and frameworks such as LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex.
• Experience with structured extraction from documents and free-form text (contracts, reports, correspondence).
• Experience building stateful pipelines with state tracking in a database.
• Experience with PostgreSQL / Supabase and MongoDB.
• Experience integrating with ERP/CRM or other corporate systems.

We are looking for a fullstack developer to join the team building the product of our client — a Swedish product company developing a SaaS platform for network infrastructure orchestration and automation.

The platform brings network lifecycle management into a single interface: rolling out new sites, network segmentation, device access control (NAC, MAB, 802.1X), change governance with AI-based risk assessment, and unified visibility across a multi-vendor environment.

The product is vendor-agnostic: it connects to the customer's existing infrastructure — Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet and other manufacturers — through a plugin-based driver architecture, and integrates with ITSM, IPAM, NAC and monitoring systems. A typical end customer is a large organization with tens or hundreds of sites (retail, construction, manufacturing, facility management), where automation handles up to 70% of daily network operations without involving specialists.

Contracting and all operational matters go through us; the work itself is done within the client's team, on their product.

ABOUT THE ROLE
 

This is a fullstack role with a clear focus on backend and integrations. Your main area of responsibility is the core of the product: the automation engine, the integration layer, and the drivers connecting to network hardware and external systems. Frontend is the second, smaller part of the job: the interfaces that make network operations available without touching a CLI.

This is not CRUD development. The real difficulty here is not the interface — it is working reliably with someone else's heterogeneous and not always predictable infrastructure: collecting data from it, normalizing it into a single model, and safely applying changes to a customer's production network, where a mistake is expensive.

Stack: Python, Django, GraphQL, REST, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, Docker. The infrastructure runs on AWS and is described in Terraform — if you have no experience with them, that is not a blocker: they can be picked up on the job.

You do not need experience with this exact set of frameworks. What matters more is a strong engineering foundation, confidence in backend development, and an understanding of how networks and distributed systems work. If you have worked with other Python frameworks, APIs and ORMs, that is enough to get up to speed with Django quickly.

One particularly interesting part of the work is the change governance mechanism, which uses AI to assess risk before configurations are applied to a customer's network. If that area interests you, there is plenty of room to grow into it.

The team is small, so you will have real influence on the product, the architecture and the technical decisions. The way of working is built on close collaboration, a high degree of personal ownership, and pragmatic technical choices.

TERMS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and evolve backend services and APIs in Python (Django, GraphQL, REST).

REQUIREMENTS
 

Development

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a comparable role (Middle+ level).
• A strong foundation in Python and backend development.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL), working with ORMs and data modelling — preferably Django or a comparable framework.
• Solid command of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
• Experience with TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, preferably React — at a level sufficient to deliver a feature end to end on your own.
• Experience running and maintaining your own software in production.
• Docker — confident work with containers: building images, docker compose, containerizing services for development and production, participation in CI/CD.

Networking

• Practical understanding of networks: TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLAN/VRF, DNS/DHCP, a working idea of firewalls and SD-WAN.
• Understanding of network access and segmentation principles: 802.1X, MAB, NAC.
• Experience interacting with network hardware programmatically: vendor REST APIs, NETCONF/RESTCONF, SNMP, or CLI/SSH with output parsing.
• An understanding of how to change the configuration of a live network safely: validation, dry-run, rollback, auditing.

Distributed systems

• Experience building distributed systems: asynchronous processing, queues and message brokers (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka or equivalents), background workers, schedulers.
• Understanding of idempotency, retries, timeouts, eventual consistency and partial-failure handling.
• Experience with observability: logging, metrics, tracing, and diagnosing problems in a distributed environment.

Personal qualities

• The ability to take on a technical problem independently and carry it from the problem statement to a solution in production.
• Care when working in someone else's live environment: changes in a customer's network do not forgive sloppiness.
• Willingness to own the whole solution, not just your part of the code.

NICE TO HAVE

• AWS — experience running solutions in the cloud: compute (EC2/ECS/EKS/Lambda), networking (VPC, Security Groups), storage (S3), databases (RDS), access management (IAM), monitoring (CloudWatch).
• Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool: modules, state management, repeatable environment provisioning.
• Experience with network automation: Netmiko, NAPALM, Nornir, Ansible, gNMI/YANG, telemetry, or custom Python tooling.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on one of our new AI–native squads, you will own entire features from database to UI. About the Role

• We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to become one of the strongest technical contributors on the team.
• The single most important thing we’re looking for is experience scaling a SaaS product. We want someone who has already seen what happens as a live platform grows: increasing complexity, technical debt, scaling bottlenecks, evolving data models, unreliable integrations, and engineering decisions that worked at one stage but became expensive at the next.

3. Protect correctness, reliability, and engineering quality

• Treat financial correctness as a first-class engineering concern.
• Design for reconciliation and auditability: how we prove a number is correct, understand how it was produced, and detect discrepancies before customers do.
• Use Datadog, Sentry, logs, production data, and other signals to identify recurring problems and their root causes.
• Improve observability, error handling, testing, deployment safety, performance, and operational reliability.

• Make sure recurring production problems are solved systematically rather than repeatedly patched.

   

4. Own technically difficult areas of the product

• Lead work involving complex third-party integrations, asynchronous workflows, data synchronization, reconciliation, migrations, and failure recovery.
• Design systems that behave predictably when external APIs fail, requests are duplicated, jobs execute late, or data arrives in an unexpected state.
• Work closely with Product to make technical feasibility and engineering constraints visible before implementation begins.

• Help break large technical initiatives into safe, incremental pieces that can be built, migrated, and released without unnecessarily putting the existing platform at risk.

   

5. Make the case for important technical work

• Identify technical debt, platform investment, reliability work, and architectural improvements that may not naturally appear on the product roadmap.
• Distinguish between debt that can safely remain and debt that is materially affecting reliability, engineering speed, or future product development.
• Make the business and technical case for that work using evidence rather than engineering preference alone.

• Help sequence improvements so they support product development rather than competing with it unnecessarily.

   

6. Raise the level of the engineering team

• Be a strong technical reference point for other engineers.
• Review architecture, designs, and pull requests with a focus on correctness, reasoning, and long-term maintainability.
• Explain why you would make a decision differently rather than simply leaving a verdict.

Who this position is not for

• This is not a role for someone whose definition of seniority is simply delivering more complicated tickets. 
• If you prefer receiving clearly defined tickets and technical solutions and then implementing them, this role will probably be frustrating.
• It is not a management role. You won’t have direct reports or headcount responsibility. Leadership here comes through technical ownership, judgment, mentoring, reviews, and influence.
• It is also not a Staff Engineer role. Our Staff Engineers and VP of Engineering set the overall technical direction and architecture. You will help shape that direction, challenge it when needed, and fully own the design and implementation of substantial systems within it.
• It is not a greenfield role. You will be joining a live platform with thousands of customers and a roadmap that does not pause while technical improvements are made. We’re looking for a Full-stack Engineer (Agentic Systems) to own end-to-end product development — from the client-facing web layer to backend business logic, including agentic engineering, highload system design, and shipping AI features against real business and product requirements. • Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation: architecture, API contracts, AI flows
• Clarifying requirements, estimating and decomposing tasks, and raising technical risks early (in collaboration with design)
  Needed experience & skills:

Frontend

• React + Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Vite, TailwindCSS — able to build client applications independently
• Understanding of UI state, API integration, and basic attention to UX and interface performance

Backend

• Node.js and Python — business logic, REST APIs, WebSockets, integrations
• Database design and hands-on work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB; confident SQL
• Queues and caching: RabbitMQ, Redis; object storage (S3)
• Containerization with Docker; deploying services via existing Helm chart templates

AI / LLM Engineering

• Agentic engineering: building AI agents with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar
• Tool/function calling, prompt engineering, memory and fallback logic
• RAG systems: embeddings & vector search; vector DBs such as Qdrant, pgvector, or Pinecone
• Experience working with pre-deployed self-hosted models
• LLM evaluation & optimization: quality, latency, and cost metrics; AI solution observability
• Understanding of AI security: prompt injection, handling sensitive data

General

• Systems design and understanding of highload architecture (scalability, resilience under load)
• Observability: instrumenting services with logs and metrics; familiarity with the Grafana/Loki/Prometheus stack
• Code under test: unit, integration, and load testing; code review discipline; clean, documented codebase
• English B2+ (technical documentation, external integrations, written communication)
• 2–3 years of experience as a Full-stack developer, plus at least 1 year in AI engineering
