About the role

As an HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in aligning HR practices with business goals, working closely with Delivery engineering managers and other key stakeholders to implement a top-tier HR partnership approach. Your responsibilities will include leading HR initiatives that promote a high-performance culture, ensuring team members are engaged. Your responsibilities will include fostering a positive work environment, resolving employee concerns, and acting as a regional HR expert in Poland to personnel, managers and senior leadership.

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years as an HR BP or People Partner in international companies;
  • 3+ years in HR in software services global IT industry 
  • Fluency in English and Polish;
  • Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and employment practices.
  • Understanding of different cooperation models in Poland, including employment contracts and B2B arrangements.
  • Experience with employee relations, disciplinary procedures, terminations, leave, working time, and employment documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with external legal advisors.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Proven ability to deliver full-cycle HR projects;
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and organizing HR events;
  • Familiarity with cross-functional, cross-cultural team dynamics;
  • Experience managing sensitive and confidential information;

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive HR best practices to support performance and growth;
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters;
  • Lead HR projects, performance reviews, and engagement surveys;
  • Build retention strategies and foster team collaboration;
  • Promote company culture and employer branding efforts locally;
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and represent the company at industry events;
  • Respond to organizational changes and employee/contractors needs by creating effective solutions for complaints and requests;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local HR networks;
  • Ensure HR processes and practices comply with Polish legislation and internal company policies.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and external advisors on complex employment and compliance matters.
  • Support benefits processes in Poland.
  • Monitor HR risks and proactively identify potential legal, operational, or people-related issues.
