Senior Front-End developer (Vue.js + React Native)

Hi! We are looking for a Senior Front-end Developer (Vue.js + React Native) to join our pack at SharksCode 🦈💙
 SharksCode is a Ukrainian IT company that develops high-tech software solutions and B2B platforms, particularly in the iGaming industry.
 This role combines web development with Vue.js and mobile development with React Native in equal measure, so we're looking for an engineer who enjoys working across both platforms and building modern, scalable applications.
 

We expect that you:

– Have 3+ years of commercial experience with JavaScript development.
– Have excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
– Have a solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Clean Code.
– Have a good understanding of HTTP, REST API, and WebSocket.
– Are confident working with Git.

Vue.js

– Have hands-on experience with Vue 3.
– Have experience with Composition API.
– Have worked with Pinia.
– Have experience with Vue Router.
– Have used Vite and Axios.
– Have experience building complex SPA applications.
– Have worked with dynamic forms.
– Understand lazy loading techniques.
– Have experience optimizing frontend performance.
 

React Native

– Have commercial experience with React Native.
– Have strong knowledge of React Hooks.
– Have experience with React Navigation.
– Have worked with Redux Toolkit or Zustand.
– Have experience using AsyncStorage.
– Have worked with native modules.
– Have implemented Push Notifications (Firebase/APNS).
– Have experience with Deep Links.
– Have worked with OTA Updates.
– Have experience publishing applications to the App Store and Google Play.
– Have experience integrating REST APIs.
– Have worked with WebSocket.
– Understand JWT and OAuth authentication.
– Have experience working with Swagger/OpenAPI.
 

Architecture

– Understand software architecture principles.
– Have knowledge of MVVM.
– Understand Clean Architecture.
– Have experience with modular application architecture.
– Knowledge of Feature-Sliced Design will be a plus.
– Are proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented.
– Are able to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
– Are comfortable participating in technical discussions and making architectural decisions.
 

Your future responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain both web applications (Vue.js) and mobile applications (React Native).
– Implement new product features across web and mobile platforms.
– Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
– Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket communication.
– Implement authentication and authorization flows.
– Manage application state using Pinia, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand.
– Optimize application performance, loading speed, and bundle size.
– Work with native mobile functionality and third-party SDK integrations.
– Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
– Perform code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
– Collaborate closely with backend developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers.
– Improve and refactor the existing codebase while reducing technical debt.
