Blockchain Developer

On behalf of our Client from Canada, Mobilunity is looking for a Blockchain Developer.

Our client is an innovative technology startup building a next-generation platform that combines AI, IoT, and blockchain technologies to create secure, scalable, and user-centric digital solutions. The platform integrates connected devices, intelligent services, and blockchain-powered incentive mechanisms to deliver engaging user experiences while maintaining a strong focus on security, privacy, and scalability.

The team is developing a modern ecosystem where blockchain plays a key role in enabling transparent reward systems, secure transactions, and seamless integrations across multiple products and services. This is an opportunity to contribute to the architecture and development of production-grade Web3 solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop blockchain-based reward and incentive systems.
• Build, test, deploy, and maintain secure smart contracts.
• Develop reward issuance and redemption workflows.
• Integrate blockchain services with backend systems, applications, AI services, and connected devices.
• Implement wallet integration, transaction processing, secure key management, and fraud prevention mechanisms.
• Design privacy-focused blockchain solutions that minimize exposure of sensitive information on-chain.
• Develop APIs and smart contract interfaces for third-party integrations.
• Monitor blockchain infrastructure and contribute to system architecture, scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate closely with Backend, AI, IoT, Product, QA, and Security teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in blockchain development.
• Strong experience with Solidity and EVM-compatible blockchains (Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, etc.).
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production-ready smart contracts.
• Solid understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed ledger technologies, consensus mechanisms, and transaction validation.
• Experience with wallet integration, account abstraction, or embedded wallet solutions.
• Knowledge of blockchain security best practices, key management, multisignature wallets, and access control.
• Understanding of token-based reward systems and tokenomics.
• Familiarity with Layer 2 networks and gas optimization techniques.
• Understanding of privacy, KYC/AML, and regulatory considerations related to blockchain applications.
• Experience collaborating with backend and frontend engineering teams.
• Good written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience integrating blockchain solutions with AI, IoT, or distributed backend platforms.
• Experience with Web3 libraries such as ethers.js, web3.js, or wagmi.
• Experience with stablecoin payments or blockchain payment infrastructure.
• Experience preparing smart contracts for security audits and supporting production environments.
• Familiarity with digital identity, verifiable credentials, or privacy-preserving technologies.
• Experience designing scalable blockchain architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Hardhat or Foundry, OpenZeppelin libraries, and smart contract testing frameworks.
• Experience working in regulated industries or security-sensitive environments.
