Business Manager to CMO
Our partner is building category-defining military technologies that are shaping outcomes on the battlefield. The opportunity is to build a global technology brand associated with innovation, reliability, real battlefield impact, and to create a coherent brand system across a growing portfolio of products and categories.
Looking for a Business Manager who can operate as a force multiplier for the CMO and help turn strategic priorities into aligned execution across teams, functions, and initiatives.
This is not an administrative coordinator role. You will operate at the center of strategy, execution, communication, and alignment - helping ensure that critical initiatives move forward with clarity, speed, and accountability.
You will work across Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Monetization, Sales, Leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned and execution happens.
Your Role:
You act as the cross-functional right hand to the CMO.
Your focus:
- Ensure strategic initiatives move from discussions into execution
- Create alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product, Leadership, and Operations
- Help structure, prioritize, and operationalize complex cross-functional projects
- Identify gaps, bottlenecks, risks, and misalignment early
- Help the CMO stay focused on highest-leverage decisions and priorities
- Drive accountability, clarity, and follow-through across teams
- Build operational systems that improve speed, visibility, and execution quality
Ensure communication and coordination across multiple business tracks and markets
Your day-to-day:
- Coordinate strategic cross-functional initiatives across departments
- Run follow-ups and ensure accountability after leadership meetings and decisions
- Track progress across key company initiatives and identify execution risks early
- Help organize and operationalize complex GTM, partnership, and expansion projects
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Monetization, Brand, and Leadership teams
- Ensure priorities, deadlines, and owners are clearly defined and tracked
- Structure ambiguous problems into clear action plans and operational next steps
- Help the organization maintain speed and alignment in high-ambiguity environments
- Reduce operational noise around the CMO and increase decision-making leverage
- Support hiring, organizational planning, process design, and internal coordination when needed
- Help ensure the company operates proactively rather than reactively
Your Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in Chief of Staff, Strategy, Operations, Consulting, Program Management, Business Operations, or similar roles
- Strong ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong strategic thinking combined with operational execution ability
- Ability to work in fast-changing, high-ambiguity environments
- High ownership and bias toward action
- Ability to coordinate senior stakeholders and push initiatives forward without formal authority
- Strong communication - clear, structured, concise, and direct
- Strong problem-solving and systems thinking ability
- Ability to simplify complexity and bring clarity to chaos
Experience in defense, technology, startups, manufacturing, consulting, or high-growth environments is a plus.
We offer:
- The opportunity to work closely with a leader who shapes the companyβs strategic direction;
- Professional growth, challenging and diverse tasks, and the opportunity to gradually expand your scope of responsibility;
- The opportunity to work in an innovative technology company that develops solutions for the security and defense of Ukraine;
- Competitive compensation package;
- Official employment;
- Modern office, a professional team, and support during onboarding.
You will not succeed in this role if you prefer waiting for direction instead of driving alignment and execution proactively.
