Marketing Generalist (Brand, Social, Communications)
About the role
We're looking for a proactive, creative marketing all-rounder to own and grow our brand presence. This is a hands-on generalist role: you'll shape how we look and sound online, build our social channels from the ground up, get us featured in the press, and jump in wherever the team needs a creative hand. If you like variety, take initiative without waiting to be told, and can turn a rough idea into a finished piece, you'll thrive here.
Important: Fluent German (spoken and written) is essential for this role, as you'll be creating German-language content and coordinating directly with German-speaking media and press.
What you'll do
• Improve and iterate on our landing page — copy, structure, and conversion
• Create and manage our social media channels and overall online presence
• Coordinate with newspapers and media outlets to get articles written about us
• Plan and produce swag and materials for our conference and events
• Keep our brand consistent across every channel and touchpoint
• Track performance and use insights to improve what we do
• Pick up occasional migration and operational tasks as needed
What we're looking for
• Fluent German (essential) plus solid English
• 2+ years in marketing, social media, content, or communications
• A proactive, self-starting attitude and genuine creativity
• Strong writing and content-creation skills across formats
• Experience building social channels and running online presence
• Comfortable wearing many hats in a small, fast-moving team
