Software Service & Innovation (SSI) is a Swiss IT consulting and software engineering company helping organizations accelerate digital transformation through custom software development, AI solutions, Team Extension, and technology consulting.

As we expand our presence across the DACH region, we are looking for a Director of Sales to define and execute our commercial strategy, establish a scalable sales organization, and become a key member of the leadership team.
 

Your Mission

As Director of Sales, you will own the company's revenue growth across Europe.Working directly with the founders, you will define the go-to-market strategy, develop strategic partnerships, optimize sales processes and eventually build a high-performing sales organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute SSI's commercial strategy.
  • Develop the go-to-market plan for the DACH market.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and market segments.
  • Establish strategic partnerships across Europe.

Revenue Growth

  • Own the company's revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Negotiate high-value software development and consulting agreements.
  • Develop key accounts and long-term customer relationships.

Sales Organization

  • Design scalable sales processes and KPIs.
  • Improve CRM and sales forecasting.
  • Hire, coach and lead the future sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to maximize pipeline generation.

Executive Collaboration

  • Work directly with the founders on business strategy.
  • Represent SSI at executive meetings, conferences and industry events.
  • Contribute to pricing, positioning and service portfolio development.
     

We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years in B2B technology sales.
  • 3+ years in a Sales Director, VP Sales or similar leadership role.
  • Strong experience selling IT consulting, software development or digital transformation services.
  • Successful experience entering or growing the DACH market.
  • Proven track record of building predictable revenue growth.
  • Experience managing long enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong executive presence and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English (C1+).

You'll Be Highly Successful If You Have

  • Existing network across Germany, Switzerland or Austria.
  • Experience working with Swiss companies.
  • Background in IT outsourcing or consulting.
  • Experience scaling international sales organizations.
  • Understanding of AI, Cloud, Data, Enterprise Software and Digital Transformation.
