Dephi Developer

We are looking for a talented Delphi Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance desktop and enterprise applications built using Embarcadero Delphi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Object Pascal programming, database development, application architecture, and software maintenance. The role involves working closely with business analysts, QA engineers, and cross-functional development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Embarcadero Delphi (Object Pascal).
• Develop new features and enhance existing desktop and client-server applications.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable application components.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs, web services, and messaging technologies.
• Design and implement database objects, stored procedures, and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with QA teams to perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and release notes.
• Support application deployments, upgrades, and production releases.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and recommend technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience developing applications using Delphi.
• Strong proficiency in Object Pascal and Embarcadero Delphi.
• Experience with desktop application development for Windows.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with database design and SQL development.
• Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Delphi XE through Delphi 12 (Athens) or later.
• Experience migrating legacy Delphi applications to newer versions.
• Knowledge of FireMonkey cross-platform development.
• Experience with reporting tools such as FastReport, QuickReport, or ReportBuilder.
• Familiarity with DevExpress or TMS Components.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience integrating with ERP or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern application architectures.

Responsibilities in Production Support

• Investigate and resolve production incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor application performance.
• Provide timely bug fixes and patches.
• Support deployment and release activities.
• Ensure application stability and availability.
