Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI Platform)

US Company is searching for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI Platform) to join an AI-first product company building an advanced communications platform powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full technology stack, designing scalable backend services, modern user interfaces, cloud infrastructure, and AI-powered features in close collaboration with a US-based engineering team. Full-time, official contract, remote work, and flexible schedule.

Brief project description:
The product is an AI-driven communications platform that enables businesses to automate and enhance customer interactions through voice, messaging, and intelligent workflows powered by modern LLM technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end product features across frontend and backend.
• Build scalable backend services using Python and Node.js.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and database migrations.
• Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Integrate LLM capabilities into production features using prompt engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and US-based Engineering leadership.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations when necessary.
• Continuously improve software quality, performance, and reliability.

Required skills (must have):

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years as a Full-Stack Engineer.
• Strong backend development experience with Python and Node.js.
• Solid experience designing REST APIs and scalable backend architectures.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and migrations.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch or similar services).
• Practical experience integrating LLMs into production applications through prompt engineering.
• Experience building modern, responsive UI using contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing (pytest, Jest, Playwright, Cypress or similar).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to work with several hours of overlap with US business hours.

Would be considered as a plus:

• Experience with Twilio (Programmable Voice, Messaging or Verify).
• Experience building Voice, SMS, RCS or Apple Messages for Business solutions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira.
• Experience building AI-first SaaS products.
• Experience designing distributed cloud-native systems.
