Senior Python Developer (Flask / REST API / Azure)

Full Remote • 7+ years of experience • English – B2+

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join a long-term international project focused on developing and extending enterprise-grade backend applications and custom monitoring solutions.

About the Role

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend applications built with Python and Flask. You will work closely with both our internal engineering team and the customer's technical stakeholders, taking ownership of technical solutions from design through delivery.

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code, building scalable REST APIs, and working independently in a distributed international team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Flask.
• Build high-quality, secure, and scalable REST APIs.
• Develop and extend custom Python modules and integrations.
• Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
• Follow Clean Code, SOLID principles, and software engineering best practices.
• Write maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.
• Collaborate closely with customer technical teams and internal developers.
• Estimate development tasks and communicate progress proactively.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement reliable solutions.

• Work with Git-based development workflows.

   

Requirements

Must Have

• 7+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Flask.
• Extensive experience building REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles.
• Strong knowledge of Clean Code and SOLID.
• Experience writing well-structured, maintainable, and documented code.
• Hands-on experience with Git.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Strong communication skills.

• English level B2 or higher.
