Senior Full-Stack Developer (FinTech / InsurTech)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to help build and scale a next-generation FinTech/InsurTech platform. If you're passionate about designing reliable financial systems, owning architecture decisions, and working on products where data integrity and security are critical, we'd love to hear from you!
 

Core Competence:
 

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend architecture and scalable systems.
• Mandatory expertise in Finance and Insurance domains with a solid understanding of financial logic, transactional workflows, and data integrity principles.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and raw SQL: experience working without ORMs, designing migration-driven database schemas, and implementing immutable double-entry ledger systems.
• Deep knowledge of Next.js 16 (App Router) and TypeScript with experience building scalable serverless architectures using API route handlers and service-layer patterns on Vercel.
• Strong experience with modern frontend development using React 19 and Tailwind CSS v4, focusing on maintainable UI architectures without relying heavily on state-management libraries.
• Hands-on experience integrating FinTech solutions, including Stripe payments, Auth.js (v5), Passkeys, TOTP, and advanced authentication flows.
• Experience with production infrastructure and cloud services: AWS RDS, AWS S3, Sentry/Axiom observability, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong commitment to software quality with practical experience using Jest and Playwright for automated testing and system reliability.
• Ability to take architectural ownership, maintain, optimize, and evolve large-scale serverless applications with 100+ production routes.
   

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Experience with Java and understanding of JVM-based backend systems.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations and applying AI capabilities in production applications.
• Knowledge of FinTech/InsurTech regulatory requirements, compliance practices, and security standards.
• Experience with document generation solutions such as react-pdf or pdf-lib, as well as designing flexible email provider integrations.
• Previous experience working in early-stage startups, taking products from MVP to production-ready platforms.
• Understanding of modern web standards and experience with Node.js 24 features.
• Experience designing systems where scalability, security, and reliability are key priorities.
