Middle QA Engineer Offline
Objective:
Organizations managing large-scale capital investments often struggle with scattered spreadsheets, disconnected forecasts, and slow, manual sign-off chains. Responsibilities:
- Testing of web-based applications.
- Testing of APIs, including both REST and GraphQL.
- Actively taking part in team ceremonies — Daily Standups, Refinements, Planning sessions, Retrospectives, and similar meetings.
- Spotting edge cases while analyzing requirements.
- Carrying out Smoke and Sanity checks to confirm product stability.
- Reviewing existing bug reports.
- Flagging new potential issues and risks.
- Maintaining clear communication with the Product Owner, CTO, and the rest of the team.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a QA Engineer role.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above (a higher level is a plus).
- Solid grasp of test design techniques, with practical application.
- Comfortable producing test artifacts — bug reports, test cases, checklists.
- Familiarity with client-server architecture principles.
- Practical experience testing REST APIs.
- Basic understanding of working with AI tools (applied within the project's workflows).
- Background in the FinTech industry.
Nice to have:
- Capable of reading through web server logs.
- Understanding of API architecture concepts.
- Awareness of the distinctions between REST API and GraphQL.
