Middle QA Engineer Offline

Objective:
Organizations managing large-scale capital investments often struggle with scattered spreadsheets, disconnected forecasts, and slow, manual sign-off chains. Responsibilities:

• Testing of web-based applications.
• Testing of APIs, including both REST and GraphQL.
• Actively taking part in team ceremonies — Daily Standups, Refinements, Planning sessions, Retrospectives, and similar meetings.
• Spotting edge cases while analyzing requirements.
• Carrying out Smoke and Sanity checks to confirm product stability.
• Reviewing existing bug reports.
• Flagging new potential issues and risks.
• Maintaining clear communication with the Product Owner, CTO, and the rest of the team.
   

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a QA Engineer role.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above (a higher level is a plus).
• Solid grasp of test design techniques, with practical application.
• Comfortable producing test artifacts — bug reports, test cases, checklists.
• Familiarity with client-server architecture principles.
• Practical experience testing REST APIs.
• Basic understanding of working with AI tools (applied within the project's workflows).
• Background in the FinTech industry.
   

Nice to have:

• Capable of reading through web server logs.
• Understanding of API architecture concepts.
• Awareness of the distinctions between REST API and GraphQL.
