ICON Finance is a financial services company operating since 2015. We provide OTC crypto exchange, bank transfers, and cash collection services. Office in Warsaw, B2B clients across crypto, fintech, and traditional business. Active deal flow, growing client base, real banking partners, real deadlines.


The role
Our Legal function is growing faster than one lawyer can handle. We're looking for someone to take over the operational side โ€” KYC, due diligence, documentation, standard contracts โ€” freeing up our Legal Counsel to focus on complex, non-standard cases. This isn't a "pass-the-paper" position: you'll see the full process from application to account opening, and gain more autonomy over time.


Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing KYC packages for corporate account opening
  • Liaising with banks and EMI partners, tracking application status
  • Conducting due diligence and screening counterparties (sanctions lists, PEP)
  • Maintaining the legal archive and contract registry
  • Preparing standard agreements (NDAs, service agreements) from templates


How we'll measure results
Leading indicators: application processing speed, response time to banks/partners.
Lagging indicators: KYC packages accepted on first submission (90%), applications processed within SLA (90%), due diligence completed on time (95%), registry/archive accuracy (98%).


What matters

  • 2-3 years of experience in compliance/AML/KYC (banking or fintech) โ€” banking-side compliance background is a strong plus
  • Russian โ€” fluent, English โ€” B2 or above
  • Attention to detail, self-driven, comfortable working where processes are still being built


A plus

  • Experience in crypto/fintech
  • Legal education
  • Experience with CRM/trackers (ClickUp, PeopleForce, or similar)


Not a fit if you

  • Expect a fully polished process where you only follow instructions
  • Are not willing to occasionally be reachable outside standard working hours
  • Have no interest in crypto/fintech regulatory specifics
  • Need detailed step-by-step guidance at every stage
