Senior Project Business Quality Manager
Responsibilities:
Taking end-to-end responsibility for quality performance throughout the entire project lifecycle: from product and system design through to installation, commissioning and after-sales
Defining and implementing quality standards, governance and processes for all project phases in a project-focused environment
Strategic partnership and close collaboration with technical departments, operations, partners and customers
Responsibility for handling customer complaints, escalations and costs of poor quality (COPQ) to drive sustainable improvement
Leading root cause analyses and continuous improvement processes across regional and cross-project structures
Establishing and maintaining KPIs, dashboards and management-level reporting to make quality visible
Positioning quality as a business enabler
Qualifications:
Relevant experience in engineering or quality management within international, project-driven and industrial environments
Comprehensive knowledge of certifications, risk management and quality standards such as ISO 9001 and CE
In-depth knowledge of COPQ, customer complaints and field quality
Experience with quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, FMEA and 8D
Ability to manage complexity, engage stakeholders effectively and remain calm and structured in escalation situations
Strong leadership skills based on influence rather than hierarchy
Fluent English is a must, German nice to have
Willingness to travel
