Senior Full Stack Engineer / Tech Lead — Online Casino Platform

We are looking for a senior hands-on engineer to build an online casino platform from scratch.

This is an early-stage product founded by a European entrepreneur based in Cyprus. The role is suitable for someone who can take ownership not only of development, but also of architecture, technical decisions, integrations, security and scalability.

What you will work on:

• Building a web casino platform from scratch;
• Backend architecture and core platform logic;
• Frontend development for the web platform;
• Payment / PSP integrations;
• Wallet, cashier, balance and transaction logic;
• User accounts, authentication and authorization;
• Security, fraud prevention, transaction validation;
• Integrations with third-party providers / game aggregators;
• Admin / back-office functionality;
• Building a reliable and scalable technical foundation for the product.

Ideal tech stack:

• Node.js / TypeScript;
• React / Next.js;
• PostgreSQL;
• Redis.

Alternative stack:

• Java / Spring Boot + React.

What we are looking for:

• Strong full stack or backend-heavy engineering background;
• Experience building products from scratch;
• Experience with online casino, iGaming, betting, gambling, fintech, PSP, wallets, payment gateways or other real-money transactional platforms;
• Strong backend architecture skills;
• Understanding of payment flows, transactions, balances and security;
• Ability to work independently in an early-stage environment;
• Product mindset and readiness to take ownership.

Big advantage:

• Experience building or launching an online casino / web casino / iGaming platform from scratch;
• Experience with casino wallet / cashier / bonus logic;
• Experience with game provider or aggregator integrations;
• Experience with high-load transactional systems;
• Experience in a founding engineer / tech lead role.

This role is not a regular “task-based” full stack position. We are looking for someone who can become a key technical person in the project and help build the product foundation from zero.
