Windows System Engineer

We're looking for a Windows System Engineer to configure and lock down a Windows environment running a Unity application on industrial hardware. The system must boot directly into the app with no desktop, taskbar, or user access to system UI. 

Responsibilities: 

• Configure Windows 10/11 IoT in Shell Launcher or Assigned Access mode 
• Manage DLL registration, versioning, and dependencies for the application 
• Set up Python-based services as Windows services (NSSM, pywin32) with auto-start and monitoring 
• Tune Windows image for specific industrial hardware (GPIO, serial, BIOS/UEFI, thermal management) 
• Create reproducible, automated Windows image deployment using DISM, WinPE, and unattend.xml 
• Document the full configuration pipeline for production deployment 

Requirements: 

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Windows kiosk mode configuration 
• Deep Windows knowledge: registry, services, WMI, DLL loading, Group Policy lockdown 
• Experience with PowerShell scripting skills 
• Experience with industrial SBC or embedded x86 boards (Advantech, Kontron, Beckhoff, or similar) 
• Proven ability to build and validate Windows images on industrial hardware 

Nice to Have: 

• Windows Autopilot or MDM-based provisioning 
• CI/CD pipelines for OS image building 
• Secure Boot, BitLocker, TPM configuration 
• Unity runtime knowledge on Windows (DirectX, display management)
